I am an Assistant Professor of Public Health at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), in Porto Alegre, Brazil. My broad research interests include health technology assessment and research synthesis. More specifically, much of what my group has worked on is related to the following topics:
(1) programs of physical activity delivered for special populations;
(2) methodological and dissemination practices in exercise sciences.

After graduating in Kinesiology (exercise sciences), I obtained MSc (2007) and PhD (2012) in cardiovascular sciences from UFRGS.  I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Science and Technology for Health Technology Assessment (IATS, CNPq/Brazil) from 2012-2015.
